..i have been singing along to this song for weeks and today..

i read an article where katy said she wrote this song to inspire people to stand up for themselves and encourage them to be their selves..

that people need to recognise their inner beauty and step out..no matter what anyone says..
..we all have a spark to be a firework..

..usually the only people standing in our way is ourselves!!

..we need to remember to always be a first rate version of ourselves..

..never a second rate version of someone else x
